How to Search the NT Apprenticeships and Traineeships Database

To search for apprenticeships/traineeships and view specific apprenticeship/traineeship information use one of the following search methods:

1. Enter into the text box

• a generic job title, e.g. "Electrician"

or

• the name of the apprenticeship/traineeship qualification, e.g. Electrotechnology

or

• the vocation stream (specialisation), e.g. systems electrician,

and select the "Apprenticeship/Traineeship" radio button, then click on the "Search" button.

2. Type the national qualification code of the apprenticeship/traineeship qualification you are searching for into the text box and select the "National Qualification Code" radio button, then click on the "Search" button.

3. Type the name of the registered training organisation you are searching for into the text box and select the "Registered Training Organisation" radio button, then click on the "Search" button.

If you use search methods 1 or 3, a list of apprenticeship/traineeship qualifications related to your search will be displayed. Simply click on the apprenticeship/traineeship title to view the details for that qualification. You don't need to type in full words, for example, if you type in the incomplete word "Mech" you will get results which contain that text, such as the word "Mechanics".

If you use search method 2, the details for that particular apprenticeship/traineeship will be displayed.
